Beer Cheese Dip is a must-have gameday appetizer in our house. It only takes a handful of ingredients and you can switch up the dippers. Crack open a beer of your choosing – we always have Michelob Ultra on hand for tailgating – and let’s get started!

Ingredients:

  1. 16 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  2. Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix
  3. Bottle or Can of your favorite Beer
  4. 1 C. Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Supplies:

  1. Spatula, Spoon or Electric Hand Mixer – see Tips below
  2. Medium or Large Mixing Bowl
  3. 1 C. Measuring Cup

Serve with:

  • Mini Pretzel Twists
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Mini Peppers

Let your cream cheese soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes before starting.

In a medium or large mixing bowl, add both 8 ounce blocks of cream cheese. Dump in one packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dips Mix. You know that beer you opened earlier? Add one ounce to your bowl. And if you already finished it, no judgement here, open another one.

With a spatula or spoon, gently mix together until the beer combines with the cream cheese. Add 1-2 more ounces of beer and continue mixing until combined.

Now, mix in 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese.

If you’d like your dip a thinner consistency, continue adding beer one ounce at a time and mixing well.

Serve Beer Cheese Dip with dippers of your choice, and enjoy the remaining beer! Cheers! 🍻

Refrigerate any leftovers, and use within two days.
