Non-Stick Scrambled Eggs

Fluffy, non-sticking, scrambled eggs without the clean-up fuss.

Ya’ll, I know, Scrambled Eggs are basic. Hear me out though, because I’ve found a trick to non-stick scrambled eggs with an EASY to clean pan! This serves 2, so feel free to double the recipe – but check out the Tips first.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Large Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Milk or Half ‘n Half
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Avocado Oil – see Tips below
  • 1/4 C. Shredded Cheese, optional

Supplies:

  1. Large Mixing Bowl
  2. Whisk
  3. Large Non-Stick Skillet
  4. Silicone Spatula

Place skillet on stovetop over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter, then 1 tablespoon of avocado oil.

Crack 6 large eggs into large mixing bowl and add your choice of Milk or Half ‘n Half. Beat together, lifting as you go to get air into the mixture. You really want bubbly eggs that are thoroughly incorporated and a soft yellow color.

Beat Eggs

Turn stovetop heat up to high, then slowly pour your eggs into the skillet. With your spatula, stir continuously until the eggs start to form solids. Now turn your heat down to low (if you’re in a slight rush, use 2 instead of 1).

Now you’ll push the eggs from the edge of skillet into the center, moving your way around the pan. You want to work at a medium pace here, so that the eggs are cooking but not sticking or browning. Continue pushing the eggs in until your liquid is almost entirely cooked. I like to give the scramble a flip to ensure that the liquid on top isn’t still runny.

Turn off heat and move skillet off of burner. Your eggs will continue to cook slightly from the residual heat.

Season with salt, pepper or lemon pepper, cayenne or red pepper flakes.

Serve immediately.

Aside from quick, fluffy scrambled eggs – the clean-up with this method is super easy. Non-stick scrambled eggs means no more scrubbing on the pan to get the egg residue to release. I do recommend giving it a rinse as soon as you finish eating your scrambled eggs though, so that it doesn’t harden to the pan and defeat the quick clean-up.
